Let’s face it, if you love what you do, it’s unconditional, it’s instinctive and it’s rewarding.
I founded White Echo because I was passionate about social media. It’s a huge platform, it’s instant and it’s engaging.
Throughout my whole life I’ve always been one to lend a hand. Whether it’s a phone call to the local pro shop to get some mates onto an exclusive golf course or that discounted rate at a hotel, I’ve never backed away from helping people out.
Social media is no different and I want to give you a little insight into my passion for this industry that fascinates me everyday.
We received a really nice email on our website from a lady who has been following White Echo for some time. In short her message was, “How do I get a chance to learn what you do guys do? I’m obsessed.”
After speaking with this lady just recently I was blown away by her passion. Holding down a full time job all she wants to do is help. It’s these people, this passion and this enthusiasm I love.
In no way are we blowing any wind in any direction but we as a nation are at times reluctant to open up and express our feelings; well, this is where social media plays a role.
These feelings remind me back to my footy days. My favourite time of the week – and every AFL player could relate to this – was that first hour after a win. You sing the song, you throw around the powerade, you give high 5′s all around to the players, staff, even the boot studder, its the best feeling.
Now that I’ve stepped away from that environment I search for similar moments with what I do now.
If you love what you do you’ll succeed. Always follow your drive, your passion, discover and you’ll succeed.
In the case of this lady she simply followed her drive and we hope to have her joining our team soon.
Passion in what I do today puts me in that one hour feeling after a win, it’s infectious.
